The Jewel of California's Eastern Sierras tm
Celebrating 51 years of Great Hospitality!

Just a few of our
Guests Comments

The lodge is situated at the base of a magnificent butte that juts up into craggy gorgeous formations, which are lit at night from the lodge.  A beautiful High Sierra meadow spreads out from this butte, and it truly is glorious.  I understand a lot of families use this as family reunion central... the room rates are reasonable, and it seems to be able to accommodate a nice crowd. We had a great time. It isn't often enough that we get to have the grandsons for a couple of weeks. The three days in the Eastern Sierra and "Meadowcliff" are highlights of their visit.
We caught a lot of fish and had ourselves a good old fashioned time playing Scrabble outside our room in the balmy evenings.

Just a few words of thanks, My wife and I enjoyed our stay. The views are equally as awesome as the hard work you have accomplished towards the landscaping of your resort. I know there is nothing we can say that hasn't already been said, so, I will just say Thank You very much and we will be looking forward to returning.

I just wanted to thank you for your wonderful hospitality. My friend Fred & I really enjoyed your lodge & the surrounding area. The hiking trials you turned us onto were great.... Our friend we were cheering on in the Death Ride did complete all 5 mountain passes in 14 hours...Both Fred & I hope to find the opportunity to return with our spouses & families in tow.
Thanks again!

Hey, just wanted to report that I enjoyed my one night stay at your place. It is a great value! I'll be back. Mike King

I hope all is well and the group from Merced CA left your place as nice as we found it. Thanks for everything, my wife Carol & I and friends Mike & Mary Walker will be back for sure.
Thanks John and Carol Robbins & Mike and Mary Walker

Thank you Mary & Tim. We had a great time as always. This was a phenomenal year for fishing. I almost got the trout Grand Slam. I caught a brook trout, about a dozen and a half rainbows (catch and release of course), a few browns and a golden. All I needed was a cutthroat. Maybe next year. My tribe of 5 will see you again next summer, just like we have for the last 6 years! By the way....the biscuits and gravy at the restaurant continue to be the BEST!
See you again, Dan, Yolanda, Michael, Brianna and Andrew Felkins

Just a note to say that on our travels, this motel-resort is the finest that we have experienced to date! Thanks for making it so nice.
Mr & Mrs R Carlson

Thanks for your beautiful, well-kept room (with a view). Hope to return again!

Thank you so much for your hospitality. Your resort is definitely a jewel in the rough.
Tim, it was a real pleasure chatting with you and we both wish you well in the future.
We will certainly highly recommend your place to all our Canadian friends.
You have made our short visit to California most enjoyable. Thank you again.
If ever in Ontario, be sure to look us up.
Sincerely, Stephen & Carolyn Durber

I want to thank you again for our lovely stay at Meadowcliff. It was a lot of fun -- especially when I finally learned how to catch a few trout. They were very tasty -- we had a BBQ Saturday night. Look forward to seeing you again -- perhaps once more before summer is over.
Take Care, Dave Schlom

Tim, Mary Grace, Toby and Meadowcliff Staff,
What can we say except, thank you for a wonderful year! We appreciate your hospitality. We couldn't think of another place to spend a week's vacation and are looking forward to next year!
